Pricing FAQ
On the Starter and Pro plans, additional requests are billed at the overage rate shown for your plan ($0.0029/req for Starter, $0.0015/req for Pro). You are never hard-blocked mid-month - we send an email alert when you reach 80% of your included quota. On the Free plan, requests are paused at the 500 limit until your billing cycle resets. You can upgrade at any time to restore access immediately.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are billed a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep your current plan benefits until then. There are no contracts or cancellation fees.
The Free plan serves as a permanent free tier with 500 requests/month - no trial period, no expiry. If you need to evaluate a paid plan with higher limits, contact us at sales@foodsafescoreapi.com and we can arrange a short evaluation period for qualifying projects.
Annual billing is available for Starter and Pro plans with a 15% discount compared to monthly billing. Annual plans are paid upfront. To switch to annual billing or get a quote, email sales@foodsafescoreapi.com. Enterprise plans are always negotiated annually with custom volume commitments.
